Most will know her as the webmistress for Granger Enchanted and others might just know her as the witch who loves Hermione Granger and more importanrtly rarer pairings in the fandom. Here are some questions our rabid readers wanted to know! 1. Who is your favourite wizard and why (and i dont mean favorite to write, just favorite in general)? Answer:- That is a difficult one because I love most of them... so perhaps I'll do top three? 1. Lucius Malfoy, because he is a cold hearted bastard yet risks everything to go after his son. I like to think somewhere in that pureblood brain of his is a loving wizard that will Crucio you then snog you to death lol 2. Remus Lupin:- He is a big old contradiction wrapped up in a cardie wearing package heh I love that he endures a constant struggle between his light and dark side, that he is a werewolf (yum) and is such a sweet gentle man 3. James Potter but I'm very picky with fandom James Potter and I really only like my own and the one wickedswanz wrote lol 2. If you were in posession of the Dark Lord's last soul fragment would you destroy it or bring him back? Answer:- It depends whose side I was on and what it would bring back, If I was a loyal Order member then I would destroy it however if I was a loyal death eater and it would bring back Tom Riddle then I would go for it hehe 3. Who do you think would win in a muggle mud wrestling match.... lucius malfoy or severus snape?? bella lestrange or marcissa malfoy?? (not asking hermione because of the sire's hermione centricity) Answer:- *laughing* erm I did say I'd answer anything didn't I? Well...Severus Snape because he works with potions and isn't afraid to get dirty and Bella because she's dark and dangerous and would do anything to best someone. 4. Are you the queen of smut and do you love your beta?? Answer:- *snorts* hardly, maybe a smut courtier? And of course I love my beta she's one of the people who listen to my incessant whining and praises me, tickles me when I'm feeling down and gives out the best licks humanly possible hehe 5. What is your favorite pairing that does not include Hermione??? Answer:- erm that is really hard because I've only read a handful of fics that weren't Hermione centric but I think I'd have to say Sirius/Remus (cause they are uber hot) 6. Who is your inspiration and why? Answer:- hmm another tough one... there are alot of people who provide me inspiration... wickedswanz being one who gives me lines when I struggle, DJStroake who praises me at every turn even when I'm being a biatch lol ummm sirsevchick my beta of course then there's TomFeltonIsKindaHot who gives me licks when I'm down heh 7. What do you think J.K. Rowling would do/say/think if she read your fics? Answer:- LOL um she'd probably need some new knickers? 8. Do you think J.K.Rowling would enjoy your fics? Why or why not? Answer:- I really don't think she would.... I'm not sure I'd like people playing with my characters but I try to keep everything in canon and as close to her world as possible so she might be impressed that I'd gone to so much trouble, but despite using her characters I do try to morph everything into my own little world. 9. What makes you want to write the unwritable? Answer:- lol um I guess because I can make it my own without having to conform to some kind of fandom stereotype of what a character should be. (I really hate people attacking others because a fic doesn't fit in with what fandom has come to expect) 10. Why is it that you can stray away from all of the canon and create your own little world that every one just loves? (are you magical or something?lol.) Answer:- *snickers more* again I like the stories to become my own, like a little MistressMalfoy stamp if you will hehe I don't think I'm magical...'Accio!' nope not magical hehe 11. All of the (your) stories that I have read have been exceptional. Be it the quality of writing, content, plot or characters, you do a superb job. You use characters that have only been hinted to, mentioned in passing or that are barely in the books and movies, and bring them to life and separate them all, making them each unique. (as they should be) I suppose what I'd like to know is, how do you manage to get into their heads so well without making them all seem like carbon copies? And once you get into their heads, do you find it difficult to move between characters? (Especially considering that you use many of them in the same scenes?) Answer:- It's quite hard actually but I have sort of like markers for each character, like no one character is the same and there are several things that show the differences. For example, Rodolphus and Rabastan are the only Death Eaters who enjoy blood play, Lucius is always cold in public but quiet and somewhat tender in private, fiercly loyal to his family. James Potter is arrogant and smug, handsome and very white wizard. Do you see what I mean? I give each character something that sets them apart from the rest and makes then quite uniquely mine :D well their personalities anyway. 12. After reading a few hundred (thousand!) stories from this fandom, and noticing just how often storylines seem to repeat themselves, I have to ask: How do you come up with fresh ideas, stay away from clichés, etc., and keep from falling into established (and overused) patterns? I get that creativity and an active imagination are a huge part of it, but some of your ideas are so exciting, so refreshing and so different. I'm jealous and I'm begging you to share the secrets of your success!Answer:- This is going to sound kind of silly but all of my stories ideas have come from dreams. I dream quite vividly and once I get an idea into my head I run with it and it seems to morph into an epic story or a smutty one shot hehe 13. I
am just curious what your writing process is like. I like to ask as
many authors as I can because it gives me a feel for new ways to try
that I hadn’t thought about. I wonder if you don’t
mind outlining how you go from story idea/major plot bunny to actually
plotting the direction of your story and then penning it, as it were.
Answer:-
It really depends on the fic but if its a one shot
I usually just let me fingers go and let the words flow but if it's a
bigger fic then I like to have an outline with the major
story points mapped out. Nine times out of ten I'll think of twists and
turns along the way :D The plot bunnies (as above) come from
dreams for the most part but others I'll get prodded into by fans lol
14. What inspired you to become a fan fiction writer? Answer:- Oh that's an easy one! I was so sick of reading fics that started off amazing, hooked me in then had a pathetic stupid ending that left me feeling sick and a little let down for investing so much time in checking for updates, reviewing etc. Plus I saw a market for Hermione fics and dove straight in :D 15. Have you ever thought about writing your own novel? Answer:- Oh I have! And I have a plot mapped out that also came from a dream lol it's a love story :D 16. In the story Malfoi, whatever happened to the body of Carden (Abraxas' Father)? And will there be a sequel to Malfoi? Answer:- went to dust :D like any good dying vampire lol and possibly if I can think of a good enough plot. 17. What do your family and friends think about you writing fan fiction? Answer:- Most don't really know that I do, my husband does and he likes it not sure why since he doesn't 'profit' from it in any way :D 18. Do you get overwhelmed while writing? Answer:- Sometimes I do but only if I have a few fics going at once :D 19. Cookies and cream or cookie dough ice cream? Would you rather deal with a hyper George Weasley or an angry Molly Weasley? Romantic!Snape or Evil!Hermione? Answer:- Cookie Dough Ice Cream lol, erm.. Hyper George! and Evil!Hermione 20. Do you listen to Wrock (wizard rock)? Answer:- NOPE! :D 21. James. Mmm. He's hot. Any chance you'll go completely AU and throw him, Sirius, Remus, Lucius, and Hermione all in bed at once? Answer:- *laughing* that is a pretty good plot bunny I might have to steal it! :D |
